| Warning signs for prostate cancer Just wanted to provide this information for anyone who may be wondering what to look for when dealing with the onset of prostate cancer. Possible signs of prostate cancer include a weak flow of urine or frequent urination. These and other symptoms may be caused by prostate cancer. Other conditions may cause the same symptoms. A doctor should be consulted if any of the following problems occur: * Weak or interrupted flow of urine. * Frequent urination (especially at night). * Trouble urinating. * Pain or burning during urination. * Blood in the urine or semen. * A pain in the back, hips, or pelvis that doesn't go away. * Painful ejaculation. | Early Prostate Cancer produces no symptoms and can be identified by a routine physical examination by either a positive digital rectum exam or an elevated PSA level which may lead to a biopsy. Once the symptoms begin to appear, it resembles like Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) which is very dangerous because non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate is common in men over 40. Therefore men who experience symptoms of BPH must consult their physician immediately for a thorough checkup.
